A Seal Of Fate

Contributed by screwup on Thursday, 28th October 2004 @ 08:29:13 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

I need a family, need a home
Just a place I don't feel so alone
It's just love that I need
And a knife so I can bleed
16 years old and I wanna die
Too many times I've tried suicide
So many bruises over the years
Only a blade to calm my fears
Abuse tears you apart, heart and soul
Because where it was there is a hole
My back used to be all black and blue
There was only so much cutting could do
Even the blood couldn't mend it all
And all the horrors that I saw
Or the fire of a rapist's hands
No clue to me there was such a man
I tried to kick, and run away
Nothing worked, made to stay
46 cuts, no looking back
Blood running down, that's a fact
Does anyone know the pain I feel
To take a pack of razorblades and break the seal
Nothing was supposed to hurt like this
When I die will I be missed
The ultimate question I'll never find out
As I seal my fate without a doubt

So much feeling, it broke my heart, didnt think my heart fracture anymore, I know how you feelin some ways but in others I can noly imagine, being a male I know nothing of what rape is, but I can relate to blades and pain, anger and external abuse, but death, if you wonder who will miss you, I will, I see a beautiful mind body and soul, I see you, if you ever wanna talk you know where I am, this poem was so heart wrenching, so many vivid images, beautifully written and with heartfelt agony. Being so far away all I can offer is an ear to listen, and a virtual shoulder.....peace be with you, take care always

Your friend

Karl

That is so good, very powerful, emotional, purely from the heart.
Is everything going alright?
If you're like me, I only write depressing poetry when I'm feeling bad, unless it's one of those annoying request poems lol
So again, great write.
Take care though.

Cheers,
-XRaye
