Running

Topic: SongLyrics

I'm running lost...
I'm running hard...
I'm running scared...
I'm running anywhere... but where you are

I lost my heart to someone
I thought would never leave me behind
Now... I can't seem to get you off my mind
You're always there...
Always... haunting my stare
I see you at night... in my dreams
Turning my nightmares... into reality
Honestly... I would love to hold you tight... in my arms
But I can't...
Because... I'm always... running...

Running lost...
Running hard...
Running scared...
Running anywhere... but where you are

I try to avoid
Anything that makes me paranoid
That makes me scared... and unaware...
But I can't ignore my heart
With every beat...
It tears me apart...
To know that I... can't hold you tight... in my arms
Like I've always wanted to

'Cause I love you so
Oh... you've got to know
If I could... I would... hold you tight
All through the night
And quit all this running...
And be with you...
But I can't...
Because... I'm always... running...

Running lost...
Running hard...
Running scared...
Running anywhere... but where you are

Running lost...
'Cause I lost my heart
Running hard...
To try and always get back to you
Running scared...
'Cause I don't know if... you feel the same as I do
Running anywhere... but where you are
Trying to avoid...
Running into you
Because... I'm always... running...

Running lost...
Running hard...
Running scared...
Running anywhere... but where you are

But I always seem to be running ... into you...

I like the flow, and the idea, and that no matter where you go you always end up facing that from which you ran in the first place. Perhaps facing your fears would bring an end to the dream ... ?

What a wonderful write. I hope you can sleep a little more each night. Face your fear and things will get better.

Nice. I guess you should face your fear and you might not have to run.
