Here's something from me to you
It will help you through and through
---
You can't see it, or touch it
But it's there just the same
It's something extra special
That should bring you no shame
---
It's hard to describe when there's no visual aid
But I assure you it's there
On my life I will swear
That it exists (though it's not man made)
---
You can't buy it, or wrap it up tight
But it's there just the same
If you're lost, it can be your light
Just a feeling between you and I
---
If we're ever apart
And you're kind of lonesome
Then look inside your heart
For my gift
---
It is the feeling of friendship
Of which I talk
You can't see it, or touch it
But it's there just the same.
