Better Off Without Me

Contributed by RhythmBndt on Thursday, 28th October 2004 @ 09:02:33 AM in AEST
Topic: goodbyepoetry

You would be better off without me
Don't bother asking
You know it's the truth

For all the times I screwed up
For all the times I lied to you
You deserve someone better

That someone better I understand is your friend
I'm sure she'd make you happier than I would
Our love was doomed from the very beginning

I want to give up so badly
But something keeps holding me back
It's lust...& lust is a terrible thing

I've grown tired to trying
It's getting me no where
Why should I bother to continue

I know you know this is about you
It's pretty damned obvious
You know you'd be better off with out me

*Cries*

It's amazing how poetry can be a healer of hurts and pain. It's a place to vent your feelings - I definately can feel the pain you are feeling. Good Luck, life does get better.

Lust is a terrible thing. Hang in there. Better things can happen very quickly.
