So Hard

Almost three months now
A week from temptation
What do I do?
It’s a test I say
I can do one
And not want the other
Suppose I fail
Never again I attempt
This is denial
I know it is so
Yet I continue
And go with the flow
Friends from yesteryear
Quietly showing here and there
The same bad influences
I need to beware
I long to be happy…not bored
No friends…no companion
A friendship with God
But I shun Him away
My show is better than ever
Everyone believes
But I sit here tonight
Awake and guilty
Two a.m. approaches
At six I must arise
Pray slumber will reach me
Lest I be forced once again

Good description of struggle. Have faith (at least in yourself) for you will win. Take care and Peace to you.
