I sit beneath the broken trees,
And listen to the soft rain,
Whisper secrets in my ear;
Secrets
Of yeterday, today,and tomorrow;
Of always and never;
Of now and forever;
Never wondering once about the on coming sun
As the ocean joins in the conversation

I think that was sweetly beautiful hun... nice work! I could see an image and you added a nice touch when you included that it "whisper secrets in my ear"
I enjoyed it very much. Good work. The last 2 lines seem slightly different than the rest of the poem but that's the beauty of poetry I suppose, and the image you are creating with them is good.
Keep it up hun! |

I really enjoyed the imagery you used here and reading the words was like dancing into the dawn,
Nice poem much better then any of Anne Rices hubbies maybe you should ask them to replace one of his with this in the next edition? |
