Valor

Contributed by TD on Wednesday, 27th October 2004 @ 05:55:33 PM in AEST
Topic: war

Every time I hear another soldier killed, I think about how they say you saved two others. Even though your dead people still said you were a dumass, I hit them. Each time I pass by a graveyard, I think about your reasons for going. Yet all I can remember about your funeral is the marines that told me about your valor. Now all I can say is thanks.

My condolences.

Hopefully (desperately hopefully) this war will end someday soon, and no more brothers will die.

a fitting tribute. A buddy of mine was recently killed there as well.

Another hero down. They are all heroes in my eyes and I pray for them everyday. Please accept my deepest regret and sadness for the loss of your beloved brother. Heroes like him are what keep this country free. It is just a hard price to have to pay.

Most people have no idea what it is like to lose a loved one to war. It is difficult at best to understand God's timing in your brother's passing. Others will remember your brother as the one who saved them. He did his very best and it is an honor for me to salute him. My prayers are with you and your family during this most hardest of times...

Wow. This is hard for me to comment on. I am so sorry for your loss. I am impressed with your ability to express yourself this way.
It takes guts.
Stitch
