Not like me

I'm not like i once was
Somebody you could hold on to
For blackness covers this once golden heart
Now it's tainted

I find it hard to go back to my nice ways
Now there is no use in trying anymore
I asked god many tiimes
But i never did get a reply

Pain is my only true friend
It's actually been there for me
Even when i did not want it
It still wanted me.

Now i find myself falling down
Down for the count
Not to get anytime soon
I'm down and i'm out.....

I like this one, it speaks the truth in a lot of way.s Hell, god never answered me either, I gave in dialing. I never looked at pain that way before, but it is a good view.
