I’ll give you an insight to my heart & soul,
Please don’t expect things to be as a whole,
As right now I don’t feel like smiling,
As on top of me heartache seems to be pilling.
I once was happy, in love & very secure,
After years of being one of depressions whores,
I had a man, who I had never hurt,
Now I have & he is wounded in the dirt.
My heart feels like someone has stood on it,
I can’t seem to escape from all my *****,
It follows me around like a lost puppy dog,
Placing me right in the middle of all this fog.
My soul was once full of joy & light,
Now it’s dull as depression holds on tight,
The chains have been wrapped around me again,
I can feel my whole body buckling under the strain.
Please hurt just take the knife & plunge it deep,
Then no longer will I be able to make others weep,
I don’t live I just exist in a world that is harsh & cruel,
I am definitely the loser in this life long duel.
I am a damaged girl, who has no real face,
Who has been cast into this dark, scary place,
I am down so deep down I can’t get out this time,
I try so hard to regain my strength & begin to climb.
But there’s nothing left in my reserves,
As to walk this earth no longer do I feel I deserve,
I am such a nasty & sadistic piece of craft work,
Who has been created by suffering & a lifetime of hurt.

What a powerful and moving piece this is. What more can I say other than once again up to the usual stunning standard I have come to know from your work
It still amazes me that someone experiencing so much pain can translate it into something so beautiful.
