If I were a tree
I would wonder what it's like to be free
Rooted in one spot
I never move a whole lot
The things I wish i could see
Will never get a visit from me
If I were a tree
I would wonder what it's like to be free
Then again, if I were free
What would I be
A piece of paper
or a strong board
a house for the poor
or trash on the floor
If I were a tree
I would wonder what it's like to be free

I love this poem, its very insightful.
Rhyme was good. It read very easily and short but it said a lot.

Always listen to Arden. She knows poetry better than anyone. This is a nice poem and I enjoyed it. Freedom is always terrific.
