Hear; hear, here.
A whisper too loud;
Not heard
Just lying-
Echoed, coveted
The mirage-pricking fingertips
And the cracked perfection shrieking down
Quiet, lifeless
Smiling.
('Oh, that's so wonderful! I'm going to love this tomorrow!--
Dying.
(If-only-if-onlyifonly-)
Gone.
Dead air;
(Hollow like)
Wind chimes clinking forgetfully
As if minutes still blew by
A kite marooned
Afraid of falling down-
Silence.

Cursory comments do this no justice, and I'm annoyed that people seem to be looking over what you write of late - of course, I've missed it by a whole week, but at least i'm here now - because they're missing things that contain definite emotional value.
Anyway - just one more moan . . . mjgrl5 stole my quote. hmph.
Keep writing. |

Very abstract and interesting. The whole thing reminds me of wind chimes clanking at the whim of the breeze.
