Battles

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

I feel like I'm always alone, I have no friends left to call my own. Is someone going to ever make a stand, all I ask is don't hurt me its not too much to demand. How many times am I going to trip and fall, before I realize putting my heart on the line isn't worth it at all. Where is this road taking me to? I feel like there's no life to live and there's nothing to do. Why must I feel so empty inside? I try to fill in the spaces but I guve up and in a dark corner I hide. I don't want people to look at me, I give in to his touch, but I end up more lonely. When am I going to be strong enough? I am scared to face the world alone because I know it's tough. What happened to my happy family? Our stubborn hearts began to collide and it didn't turn out happily. When will I break free from the shackles of this earth? I don't think I can handle the fate I was handed at birth. Maybe I should learn to just let go, but time is cruel and it goes by so slow. So now as I tuck myself in for the night, my body and mind be replenished for tomorrows battles I must fight.
