I sit and watch you,
Getting hurt.
You always getting hurt.
And I feel like it’s my fault.
I should have been there.
I should have help.
If I only know the truth.
Was I that blind?
How could I not see your pain?
When now I see it all the time.
How can I help you?
Help you to be free.
How can I make you feel love?
And care for?
When are you going to stop saying it’s your fault?
When you did nothing wrong.
How can I help you to stop being scared?
I try so hard to make you feel love,
And needed.
I don’t like you putting yourself down.
It makes me feel like it’s my fault.
Like I am failing my best friend.
Like I am failing my sister.
Like I am failing you.
