ONE GUY WENT TO WAR - ANOTHER TOOK A PASS

Contributed by steeleyes on Tuesday, 26th October 2004 @ 06:26:06 PM in AEST
Topic: political

One guy went to war
The other took a pass
One man did his duty
The other sat on his ass

The first guy gets criticised
The other made a hero
But the first one has true class
While the other is a zero

One says what he believes
While the other tells crass lies
The first wants to play it straight
While Mr Sleazy ensures truth dies

The first looks very presidential
While the other looks a creep
The first man thinks real deeply
While the other is half asleep

The first is of course John Kerry
The second, George Bush, it's clear
Our first guy leads to a better path
The other just to more fear

Will America choose the better way
Or stick with a braindead lying fraud?
Vote for a guy who served them well?
Or a fool who thinks he’s God?

Yes, one guy went to war
While another took a pass
One guy did his duty
As the other sat on his ass
