Worth It All

Staring trials in the face,
So long and hard is the race.
You wonder sometimes deep in your mind,
Is it worth it? For only troubles, I seem to find.
There's days when I can't even lift my head,
My endless days are filled with dread.
Yet it's through these trials my faith is made strong,
It's to God's promises that I have to hold on.
He said He'd never leave or forsake even me,
It's in these words that I have to trust and believe.
When I think of Heaven up ahead,
And about my Savior and His blood that was shed,
I feel so petty and, oh, so small,
For I know in the end, it will be worth it all.
