I know that I’ll never be alone,
That you’ll always be at the end of my phone,
With your sweet, soothing voice,
With your words of love that are so moist.
Even when bodily we are apart,
You are forever carried inside my heart,
As I know that I am carried inside yours,
Your scent seeps from every last one of my pores.
Your name is etched across my soul,
You have helped me achieve my goals,
As I sleep you chase away my nightmares,
You fend off my demons icy stares.
I feel that you are with me all the time,
When I’ve got you I know everything will be fine,
You are the one who has saved me,
You opened my eyes so I could see.
I think about you all through the day,
Send you love is all possible ways,
Get excited when you are coming home from work,
In my life you are most definitely my biggest perk.
I watch the clock & count away the time,
I also pinch myself as I can’t believe you’re mine,
I am so proud when I walk with you down the street,
You are the wind that sweeps me off my feet.
