I’m living in my shadow
Some place safe to hide
Lost deep in a reverie
Slowly losing my own pride
Huddled in the corner
Tears flowing from my eyes
I can’t take this hell anymore
My whole life is filled with lies
Covered in a crimson red
All of it my own
Can’t stop the pain on the inside
But outside it can be shown
I’m ready to let go now
Just take that final breath
Let the pain all slip away
I’m just waiting for my death

| i feel the pain, I understand the agony, have been there before, vivid poem written well emotional and dark, but with clear meaning, awesome poem. |
