He Loves Me Not

He loves me, he loves me not
Not... why must my heart be shot?
A thousand knives ripping the skin
Not a cold heart, nor lead or tin
So the warm blood trickles from it
Like a bullseye arrow hit
Why must I suffer in pitiful pain?
My emotions torn, like acid rain
It burns a hole
In my sole
Unrepairable, with no cure
'He loves me not' I am sure
My heart is ripped, and torn from my chest
As you can see, I'm not at my best
But my mind is set
I must forget
The deadly rose
And the last petal I chose
I'll just sit here and rot
He loves me, he loves me not.
