Nymph

Topic: oops

Stop staring at me,
There is nothing to see,
Apart from the reflection of your nothingness,
Shut your eyes and take some much-needed rest.

I will be here when you awake,
Staring at my hollow reflection in my special lake,
Is it wise to stare into such mischievous eyes?
When the emotion could be complete lies.

My eyes enchant you with such mystery,
Leaving you finally with nothing but misery.
A smile that fills you with joy,
My expression is nothing but coy.

I am your playful nymph by your water pool,
A fun loving nymph who is not so tall.
Look at me I am so cute friendly,
You would never consider me to be deadly.

Look at me all alone, won't you come and play,
No one ever likes to stay.
I promise to be nice and love you,
I really promise to.
I really do...

SJ

THIS REMINDED ME FOR SOME REASON OF A HELLEN REDDY SONG CALLED "ANGIE BABY" DON'T KNOW WHY JUST DID. YOUR WORDS HAVE THE ABILITY TO EVOKE PICTURES IN THE MIND THAT IN TURN EVOKE NEW PICTURES. THIS POEM DID THAT FOR ME. SOMEDAY WOULD LIKE TO DISCUSS WHERE THE MOTIVATION FOR IT CAME FROM. ENJOYED IT. THANK YOU. BOB
