" Where Did It Go "

One night while sitting down to watch some television
I grabbed my faithful remote control to help with my decision
Its always on the table beside my comfy chair
A major panic struck me as its not there
I was now stressed, looked around, where could it be?
Without my remote, I can’t figure out my own TV
Someone moved it, so I looked all around
I felt the fright in my heart start to pound
I finally found it under a book on the kitchen table
I sat it down, fixed a snack, then went to view some cable
I reached for my remote and somehow its gone
So now I can’t turn my TV on
Where Did It Go this time? As I meanly grouch
It was stuffed under the cushions of the couch
Now maybe I can watch that dad burn thing
As I turn it on I hear the doorbell ring
Once again I take my remote with me
I will not let it go, I will not set it free
I finish answering the door and return to my comfy chair
Ready to watch some TV and discover my remote’s not there
While answering the door, I was very happy with myself
I realized I left it there on the shelf
I am tired now and really think instead
Since my show is over now, I’ll just go to bed!!!!!

haha! so true. my strangest place was inside my dogs stomach. but thats another story. i think its funny how people will search all over the house to find a remote, but wont just get up and turn on the TV.
