Oakland and Church where the park met the maple trees. This is where I spent the greatest moments of my life, counting the stars and the cars that passed by. Cigarettes and memories were all that were wasted. The frost of your windshield marked as a canvas to draw on, and the snow that had fallen let light to the ground. Talking about the big and small no subject was untravelled as we agreed 'pon them all. Though hours past it seemed that eternity was in our grasp, and just for a moment I saw the moon light your eyes. Living forever became documented by our fair nites. As if life couldn't get any sweeter I would have died in your eyes, counting the stars and the cars that passed by.

there's the eternal moment, then the memory of that moment, then the poem about the memory
I like it, though the cops kicked me off the park :)

I love this poem! It reminds me of my teenage years and the first time I fell in-love. Good job! I can't wait to read more from you! |
