I'll stop writing
When people stop hurting me
Pain fuels me
Both emotionally
And physically

Physical is rare
Emotional is forever
An everyday occurance
My heart pains
Forever more

It's my fault
It's your fault
It's their fault
Everyone's fault
I want to go away

Not with you
Not with them
By myself
Let me be
I'll try to be good on my own

What do you care?
What to they care?
No one loves me anymore
I'm a ghost
And I'm broken

great write. i believe in these reasons to write also. people always tells me i can write about every day things and such, but it wouldnt hold any purpose to me like writing about the above does.

While every care is taken to ensure the general sites content is family safe, our moderators cannot be in all places; all the time. Please report poetry and or comments that are in breach of our site rules HERE (Please include poem title or url). Parents also please ensure that you supervise your children well when they are on the internet; regardless of what a site says about being, or being considered, child-safe.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
