It took a year.
It took a year to write down your name.
A year without you,
A year full of hurt.
I still cant believe that you're not here.
It's taken me a year to write down how I feel,
And still I cant find the words.
I do want to say goodbye...
I do want to say I miss you...
I do want to say I'm sorry...
I never wanted you to leave me,
But now you are gone, now everyone's gone.
You came when I needed you, you left and it hurt me.
A year without you,
A year full of hurt.
God I miss you,
Just want to see you...
Just want to laugh again...
Just want to need you...
God I miss you.
You are forever my Momoe, my Momoe Ittaliano.
And forever I will need you...
It's taken me a year to write down how I feel,
And still this doesn't cover the loss I suffered when you went away.

I really like this poem. You might want to try breaking up the text into multiple stanzas though. The emotions were expressed extremely well. Great write
