I lie awake every night,
Replaying the images in my head,
I torture myself daily,
While on lookers stare in wonder,
Rocking back and forth,
Humming madly to myself,
As I hear your voice once more,
Tears streak down my begotten face,
Like shattered glass,
My tears slice my open,
Because they are the knifes that pierce my skin,
My body bears many scars,
Most of which are from you,
I try to stop the daily repeats,
But your voice still haunts my path,
Like the echo in a cave,
It repeats it self,
And refuses to leave me be,
Everyday your memories follow me,
No matter where I sand,
And everyday your voice speaks to me,
As I kill with the images in my head,
These awful tyrants rampage through out my desolate brain,
Destroying everything in sight,
But the memories of you,
Still your voice it whispers,
And still your face it stares,
But no matter which way I look at it,
It’s still nothing but whispers from the past.
