the flag wipes my tears
the snow melts the fire burning in my soul
the river washes away my sins
the bears chase away my fears
the peace makes me feel at home
and its here he will stay
till the end of his day
my daddy
has moved away
to another country
im left somewhere old
and hes standing bare
tasting the cold
its now i realise
ive always loved you
i know i never said
i know you might not care
but its the truth escaping from my lips
the thoughts racing through my mind....
i still believe in you
each and every day
