Neglect towards me is what you have shown
And for the past years, it is all i have known
You try to butter me up by buying me things and calling
every now and then
Well this is one broken heart that will be hard to mend
With bribery and pity calls, my heart you will not win
Communication, love and honesty is the way to begin
For as long as I can recall you have not been there for me
Simple talks, heart to hearts, it's mom who is there and friends and family
Trust is the biggest thing I lost because of you
I thought the most important man in my life would teach me to be true
But what you have showed is the total opposite of what should be
You were a hypocrite when you taught me about trust, love and honesty
The opposite of your faults is the choice that I will make
And losing your trust is a chance I am willing to take
