I can do this, he said,
scratching his head,
it can't be that hard,
it's only a bloody bed!
Put the kettle on
I shouldn't be that long.
We're be in it tonight,
If I just get this bit right.
But where do these screws go?
So sorry I don't know.
And what about this nut,
Did I hear you tut?
I'm getting in a mood,
you shouldn't be so rude.
It cost an arm and a leg,
for screws, washers and a peg.
I shouldn't have to make it,
And what about this bit?
It's driving me mad,
It really is quite bad!
It should have come as a bed,
Ouch my thumb! Now I'm seeing red!
I know, you're right, try to stay calm,
I totally agree it cost a leg and an arm!
It should have arrived as a bloody bed,
Or at least come with a carpenter instead!
It's gone 4am, the birds have started singing,
I'm really tired and my head is ringing.
But I'll go and put the kettle on,
I'm sure you won't be very long.
