there we stand center stage
the lights are hot the music plays
the touch of your hand on my back
the audience fades to black
there we are center stage
the fire in our hearts begins to blaze
fingertip to fingertip
toes to toes
my passion for you begins to grow
there we are center stage
with each gracefully step, the rest seems a haze
two bodys moving as one
the songs almost done
you twirl i twril i leap you leap
catch me then fall into a heap
there we are center stage
hearts pounding, this is the end of the first faze
claps and cheers, send me into alarm
almost as good as being sweapt into your arms
there we are center stage
what i thought was a romantic dance was just another hopeles trance
