Like a child slowly dying,
And refusing to play with other children,
I wait staring blankly out into the darkened abyss,
Wondering, hoping, wishing: will you come home to me?
So far away you are,
So long have I missed your caress,
Lying in the dark: empty,
Nothing inside,
My wretched soul is broken,
My grotesque body unfit,
My mind slowly spirals into a pit of broken smiles and hidden tears,
Pondering how it would be to have you by my side safe and sound once more,
Imagining how it would feel to have you kiss away my nothing,
Contemplating on the thought for hours upon hours, days upon days: nothing
I feel I see I am: empty,
Distraught: unscared,
With hands their to pick me up: I refuse them,
I wait for your hand,
I wait for eternity in small black room by myself staring into a darkened abyss: empty.
