Humanity

Topic: MiscPoems

A child of such beauty with such un-attended evil,
beaten nearly half to death by the cruelty of this world,
Such graceful ways of magnificence,
Has been smothered from her already tortured soul,
Time has eroded her life,
As a raging waterfall erodes the yet helpless rocks beneath it,
Ignorance has worn her thin patience,
That was once full and lissome,
Defaced by un-wanted fate,
Discrimination follows her like the irksome fly that refused to be gone,
Attachments are unheard of,
She is deprived from all that she loves,
A song sung so beautifully the world drowns in their begotten tears,
How can one remain withered and cruel,
How can one torture a child of such helplessness in such an unheard way,
The word humanity is spoken of often,
For most consider them selves humane,
Oh such noble and disgusting creatures,
With your last shred of humanity,
You killed and innocent child.
