Don’t Touch Me There.
The first memory of having someone touch it was my doctor.
Even as a child
It felt wrong having it touched
Then came the school mates
Always touching that special part of me.
In the hallways
In dark classrooms
They always touched it
Hell, I don’t even like touching it
It hurts me even when I touch it
It hurts my mind body and soul
Then in my early 20s
Then came the men.
Who were oh so anxious to touch it
Defile it
Ruin it
Make it dirty
Make me dirty
Filthy hands
Filthy minds
Touching something I wish I wasn’t born with
It is a gross and horrible thing
It is
It is
Please I beg of you don’t touch it
Keep your hands off of my heart
Oh did you think I was talking about something else?
No, I mean what I said
And I said what I mean.

No one ever knows what love really is until their heart and soul is touched, if that is left out of the equation all will fail. |
