When your world opens up wounds you wish to forget
Call on me to heal, to once more make you well
When the weight of doubt lies heavy on your mind
Let my shoulders take the strain with you
If you look into the mirror in your darkest hour
See my image standing there beside you
I am a friend, to walk together with you along the road of despair
When fear chokes your speaking, traps it in shrill tones
My voice will chorus yours and make it strong
Should loneliness invade any of your days
Let us banish it together, make it flee through our smiles
When you feel you are drowning in the storm of self control
Let me guide you gently to the safety of the shore
I am a friend, not a judge to condemn the choices you make
When memories dance in daydreams or haunt your sleeping soul
Let our parting never be among their number
If others seek to trap you in their cruel web of lies
My words will always be the silken threads of truth
When the autumn of our years makes us take stock of our lives
Let us reflect on what was built so many years ago
I am a friend, the gift I give to you the gift you have given to me

it very rare finding very good friend
nowdays - in the short time i've
got to know you i can see you
a loving, caring person.
continue being who you are
don't ever change
you a very special person
as nats had always said
and never forget that !!!
