Perfect Strangers

Topic: SecretLove

I glance out my window, only to find my Muse smiling back,
Shining brilliantly in my world, guiding my swift pen…
The angel’s voice rises high,
Sweet, melancholic, heart-wrenching,
A painful song of lost love…
I weep tears of past rains,
Emotions taking over me, consuming me,
A sudden need to vent once more,
Although I swore never to write again…
Inspired by mon beau ange’s hymn, I wrote of love…
Love came to me one glorious night,
The sky was crying diamonds, and the winds whispered of Fate…
He sat alone, beautiful, dark…
He melted with the shadows, as if he were one of them…
Humming an ancient tune,
Forlorn, yet utterly perfect…
An obscure hymn of my past loves,
A flawless painting of my life…
Oh, those words he spoke enchanted me so,
I knew not if they were meant for me,
Or just to aid him through his pain…
Like a dream, we were suddenly at reach,
Eyes lingering,
Ever searching for something that was once lost,
But could be found again…
Penetrating, wise, trusting,
Those Heaven eyes…
And I wondered what he saw in these orbs of liquid amber…
Did he see wretchedness? Ever-lasting beauty?
Has he discovered my love for him,
Or is he yet to find it?
Secrets, mysteries, enigmas never to be solved…
Hushed gossip flows through the willow trees,
They speak of us…
The sapphire Goddess that rules the night skies smiles upon us,
Embracing us in pallid splendor…
Complete strangers, yet we know everything of each other…
Our lives, our fears, our desires, the pain, the unconditional love…
Ah, how sweet, this adoration…
How deliciously seamless, this feeling I get when I’m near you,
When I hold you,
When I kiss you…
Euphoric, tantalizing, forever enchanting…
If this is a dream, let it never end…
If this is reality, let it last forever…
The floor beneath me disappears,
Everything becomes hazy,
The only thing in focus is you and I…
What a mystery you are,
What a mystery, this love…
In my dreams is where you dwell,
In my heart is where you rest forevermore…
You will always have a place in mon Coeur…
We say we will never fall in love again,
After we are battered and torn with the pains of an eternal “Goodbye…”
Your lover, gone, in the arms of another…
Your pillow drenched with nightly tears,
Memories of them perpetually etched within your mind…
You swear then, never more shall you love…
But, that certain person enters,
With a beauty you have never encountered,
Rekindling your lifeless body,
Bringing you back to life with their love…
This speaks of us so eloquently…
Lost in your eyes,
Perceiving your luminous world,
I give my heart willingly to you,
Hoping recklessly that you won’t break it,
Like all the others have…
You have sacrificed your heart,
And proclaimed your love…
What a precious Melodie of passion you sing…
Echoing through the night, reverberating through my heart…
Perfect strangers with a gorgeous love affair…
Writ large across Heaven,
The most beautiful of loves…
My angel’s song ends,
The cerulean Temptress is gone,
Her children dead…
But we still dance,
Along the corners of Darkness,
Along the endless skies, that is our love…
Je t’ami, mon cheri…

I must agree that this truly is a beautiful poem that leaves one feeling almost sedated and in awe.

Poetry at its best.

The queen of poetry strikes again.
Words of love so beautiful. I was brushed with a feather felt every word.
Made my skin tingle and my heart dance with joy.
Angels in heaven appeared with golden wings to celebrate your love.
A love that would put the gods to shame

Love Sweetangelukxxxxxxx

I honestly know not how this slipped past my notice ... I must have been sleeping. What a tremendous statement of adoration. I can hear Melodie, she sings and Anna joins the chorus, I become compelled to write ... I am called away ..... I shall return
