The Truth

Contributed by Mesano on Friday, 22nd October 2004 @ 03:47:47 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

With every joy, comes equal pain,
Every tear, a drop of rain,
With every death, another life,
The world moves on - sheath your knife.

I hope you give it a title.

These four lines
accomplish a great poem.
It is small, but not just
adequate.
Every word of it matters.

Perfect truth eloquently spoken. I like the serenity promoted by the advice in the final line - things happen, life is a continuous cycle, accept it and go with the flow. Well doen =)
