the sun fell in a manner that reminded me of how the smile fell from your face. likely to forget, you pressed on determined to be untattered from the common man. Wearing your war scars like a tribute to your individuality. Alive as living can get, you were best suited for not kidding yourself. Mixed messages uncomplicated complicated circumstances, often storybook romances that became threatened by a third party. Be it the way he looked at you or didn't, you walked uptown carrying chips on both shoulders. Fearing everything and nothing all at once, you carefully evaluated the pro's and con's of breathing.
