Left Alone I Cry

Nobody really wants me around.
I'm like a piece of clothing, left in the lost and found.
Left alone to die.
Nobody thinks that I even cry.
They think that I'm some emotionless child, little do they know that my emotions run wild.
They know nothing about me, I'm weined from my childhood hugs and kisses.
I may seem terrible on the outside, a monster indeed.
But on the inside I'm a frightened little child, this is the real me.

Good poem. You expressed your emotions well. I think we all feel this way at one time or another. |
