As you look into my lifeless eyes
can you see all the things that I despise?
As you walk past my disfigured self
do you notice my mind trying to kill itself?
As you glance upon my ugly face
do you notice the emptiness it portrays?
As you watch my raw lips move as I speak
can you feel the coldness that is released?
As you unwantingly notice me sitting there from afar
can you see your name as my lovely scar?
Do you get my mental messages I send everyday?
Do you even check your messages anyway?
All these things
you probably don't.
Feel me like that again,
I know you won't.
I always notice you sitting there from afar
And I must smile because I know how happy, without me, you are.

Please report poetry and or comments that are in breach of our site rules HERE (Please include poem title or url). Parents also please ensure that you supervise your children well when they are on the internet; regardless of what a site says about being, or being considered, child-safe.
