My life is a cold wasteland of infinite time
Strangled by the ropes that have yet to unravel
Caressed in the arms of poverty
Yet quickened by the ambition of determination
I am a dove, casting a spell over anyone in my presence
Climbing a never-ending ladder, surrounded by a cascade of darkness
The world and I hide ourselves from one-another
like a vampire, to light
Open-ended visions cast a shadow of my future, my life, my destiny
There is a light that I can see
That shines it's glimmer of hope
That it is only now, that I remain
In the dark
