Get Out The Black Vote

When in trouble GET OUT THE BLACK VOTE.
Visit their CHURCHES make some JOKE,
Promise them A HOLD LOT OF SMOKE.
We are DEM WE WON'T LEAVE THEM BROKE.
FOR FORTY YEARS IN POWER WE HAVE THOSE FOKES.
lock and carry thats no joke.
70% still vote our way .
18% finnally awoke WE CANNOT AFORD THAT UPWARD swing
THE GOP IS GAINING here them ROAR. We are DEM
we give them MORE.Now that ELECTION is finnally near
they Vote for us by a MILLION more.The GOP is WATCHing our BIG jump
AM NOT at ALL surprise AT this HIGH SCORE .DEM CLEAM to give us JOBS.
for forty years in power we should have more.
Our EYES are OPENING to others VIEW.It's time we look at THE GOP ANEW.

I don't understand. I think I am missing something. I don't know too much about politics, could you fill me in?
