Good Morning Mr. Smith
While you were out I spread the myth
Now all the wisest scholars
Are off chasing green-back dollars
The invisible hand puts bread on your butter
The invisible hand pulls you out of the gutter
Look ahead at you mass produced future
fill your pockets and empty your conscience
Joe’s sitting broke on the curb
But soon he’ll have the house in the ‘burbs
He’s got money for the mortgage
While his factory workers are living in bondage
Rags to riches the motto states
Anyone can be the next Bill Gates
But does it bother you to be so rich
While your neighbor doesn’t have a stitch?
The hand never gives you dime
Most who compete get pushed back in line
The system wouldn’t work right
If the masses arose and decided to fight
