You tell me poems when we’re making love
Compare my eyes to the stars above
You never say when you’ve had enough
Gasp, cause I know that you like it rough
Lay down on linens of soiled snow
You’re too old and smart to still not know
That when you look at someone in the eye
You show your heart so you better not lie
You show the corners of your mind are dark
And guard your heart like a sacred arc
Don’t try to hide from me your dirty thoughts
They get me going like a couple of shots
Don’t hide the darkness, don’t light the shadows
I want your secrets, ones only God knows
