i just regret

I sit in my room covering my ears
I hear voices of pain and anger
I scream out,” STOP! Please stop!”
But they won’t
I try to ignore them, but I can’t
All I wanted was silence, but instead all I got was noises
I yell out,” SILENCE!”
And everything stopped and silence was among the world
I look outside my window and saw everything frozen
Now I realize that I’m alone
I guess sometimes I just……regret

We all feel the same emotions in life. Maybe at different times for different reasons but we have all felt them. Since my husband died it is so silent in my house it is deafening and I scream sometimes just to shut out that silence that is so loudl No, you are not alone.
