The tears of 3am wake me, fall has collapsed, and i lay naked on the cold grass. Grasping my inner demons, while pondering the reasons, years spent in this season, are we that eager to grow up? I chance my future with a two headed coin, allowing anything but surprise to surprise me, someday I will rise. Or somebody just like me, who stakes little in his own self-worth yet feels compelled to change the way of the world. Some day...Some day, the man upstairs will come 40 flights down to hear what I have been yelling at the top of my lungs for all these years, pause, then silence me with a token of his gratuity "Keep fighting the goodfight" he might say. Long after the street lights of corporate america rather corporate suburbia have dimmed, the wild of hearts will still be strumming their guitars and painting the most obscure of paintings....waiting...I choose to not die in vain, I choose to not die in vain, I choose not to die in vain.
