Alone

Contributed by Saz on Wednesday, 20th October 2004 @ 03:17:44 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

Isn't death so welcoming;
Who would know I'm gone?
If the world's a chess board;
Then I am just a pawn.
---
I'm useless and ugly,
Not to mention fat.
Not very talented,
So what's the use in that?
---
Death's doors are open,
Should I just go in?
Maybe there I'll get some peace
Instead of wavering.
---
People say I'm their friend
They like me sure enough
So where are they when I'm all alone?
Busy with other stuff.
---
No-ones here to talk to.
No-one really cares.
Death can come and get me;
Come and get me if it dares.

You know you're a poet
when you can write
about despair like this.

You're not alone
in having these feelings.
But I have no idea how I
get thru it myself.
It's not easy.

okeedokee..I came, I saw I read. you can use the stones life puts in your path as things to step over and excercise and grow stronger, and keep on, or trip and fall on your face and stay there. All alone in a pigs eye!!! You have all of our attention..NOW WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO WITH IT?

Hey hun! Just letting you know that You aren't alone, and that you can always talk to me, cuz I'll be MORE than willing to listen. I know what ya mean w/ the whole friend thing. I'm always odd man out when my friends get together. They never think to call. I used to feel the same way about myself, and sometimes still do, but it gets better. I know it's hard to see that at the moment, but it will eventually. But suicide is no the only resort to solve your problems. Sometimes a counselor can help. Just someone to talk to and help you make sense of everything. And what if you try, and death doesn't come and "get you?" Then you're left in a mess that you can't fix. Trust me, it's not worht it. I've tried 3 times. So, I'm here to talk to hun, if you'd like to chat! ;-)
