Lost in a sea of dreams
Knowing not what is real
Nothings ever what it seems
Everythings painfully surreal

Twisted emotions, snatched away
As quick as the blink of an eye
One lonely feeling is left to stay
Lonely, as people walk straight by
---
As time goes by, we learn to fear
Fear life itself; acceptance; friends
Reaching out for something so near
But can't reach... so it just ends
---
Is it possible to live and be happy?
Can we find peace with ourselves?
To live with eachother harmoniously
In all of life's blistering swells
---
Life's endeavors are bitter-sweet...
Deal with it. There's nothing you can do.

| Great writing. Your words are how I feel a lot of times, so being able to relate to someone else's words makes the poem more special...so good job :) |
