In Death's Hate

Contributed by screwup on Wednesday, 20th October 2004 @ 06:32:43 AM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

I look in the mirror
and hate what I see
I hate that girl
staring at me
the scars upon her skin
the blades sinking in
her pain she could not bare
and all the people who never cared
she wants to live
but also wants to die
she is so torn
so torn up inside
so she cuts away her pain
and no one understands why
so many brusies
this is why she cries
she needs an outlet in life
that doesn't involve a knife
she can't wait to get away
from this pain she lives everyday
memories of the beatings
are fresh in her mind
love in her life
is hard to find
she hates her dad
and the way he makes her mad
her friends constantly worry about her
they always check her arms
to see if there's been more harm
the cuts she makes
on her arm look like scratches
but the ones on her legs
look more like gashes
with all the abuse
she never wanted to stay
she knows now it'll never be okay
so deep inside, always wishing she was dead
so the next time she cuts
she welcomes the red

That was a really good one. Brave of you to share it. Cutting is so freaking addictive... It goes away... but the urge will sneak up on you again. I hope you learn to love yourself and get into a better place in life. You are very talented. Keep writing. It is a good way to get your emotions out rather that cutting and making ugly scars. And if ya ever want to talk pm me. Good write sweetness!
