He knows your every hurt and pain, He knows of all your sorrow and shame,

He knows exactly what you need,

A Savior, your hunger and thirst to feed!

He knows your every heartbreak and your every fear; He knows that you are listening for His voice in hope to hear,

He knows exactly what you need,

An Intercessor, that your every cause, will He plead!

He knows your every desire and your every hope of expectation, He knows your joys and the hope of your soul’s salvation,

He knows exactly what you need,

A Redeemer that ever lives, redeeming your soul from the fires of hell, with God-speed!

He will be their when you need Him, He will be their when you are sad and lonely,

He will comfort you in your weeping and bemoaning, He will be their as if He was for you only!

He knows, He knows, He knows, Yes, He knows,

He knows your every heartbeat and He knows your name,

He knows you are but flesh, so He came, too deliver you from those tormenting flames,

He knows exactly what you need,

A sacrifice, sacrificed for your sin, a sacrifice that had to bleed,

“For there is no remission of sin without the shedding of blood”

He knows, He knows, He knows, Yes, He knows,

He knows your every agony and your every defeat, He knows your shortcomings and that without Him you are incomplete,

He knows exactly what you need,

A cloud of glory by day and a cloud of fire by night to lead!

He knows you have doubts and unbelief; He knows you have torments and grief,

He knows exactly what you need,

A Father to love and adore, a Father to take sweet counsel with, A Father to help overcome and succeed!
