Scratchin' that itch
at a local bar,
I've got this chick
lined up in sight
with all my might
I saddle up to her
real close
just to see
her wrinkled nose
maybe she caught
a whiff of something
maybe she wasn't digging
what I was offering.
So I cast a line
hoping for a bite
to keep me warm
on this cold night.
She tossed it back,
in nothing flat,
I was on the floor
out the door
and on the street
beneath my feet
I don't have far
to another bar.
