part6 of 13 HALLOWEEN HORRORS!

Contributed by blackholesun on Tuesday, 19th October 2004 @ 07:24:22 PM in AEST
Topic: Holiday Poetry

something rumbles in the grave,
a mutated corpse the devil's slave,
something rapping at the door,
could it be never more?

i walk to this creaking gate i hope im not out to late,
is this the right time the right hour to call on the dead,
and all that power,
candles are lit in the graveyard i sit,
all alone, past lives etched in stone,
i call them with blood,
behind me a thud,i do hear,
is someone lurking somewhere near,
to scared to look then i shook, and turned my head,
to my shock the living dead had begun to rise,
i screamed and covered my eyes,
i still remember the cries ,
blood running cold it started to rain,
they are coming im going insane!
i am to horrified to flench,i hesitated to moved an inch,
i await my demise,
i see there eyes filled with hunger,
if they eat people's hearts they get younger,
they cant be shot burned not killed they will not die they never will
stop untill they have had there fill

Very creepy! I love cemetarys though, they are so peaceful(well unless a zombie is running around)! Happy Halloween

Awesome. Another good one. You inspired me to write some dark poetry. I wrote October and Kiss of the Devil. You are very good at the creepy stuff! Keep them coming!
