Playing With Seasons

Warmed by Winter's frosty anger,
satisfied with Autumn's colour changing failure.
Enlightened by Spring's blue bird ballads,
and chilled by Summer's ocean breezes.
Mixed up seasons playing with snow-covered
candy canes
that peppermint the breath of consumers.
Shivering thoughts of daffodil dreams coat an
unwanted memory of rainy day beginnings
as sunlight streams through cracks in the walls
of invisible buildings that harbor Fall's brutality.
Empty promises spin threads of pearls and
heartache as the scent of Vanilla Swirl lipgloss
leaves fragments of sin upon the wind's icy tears.
Unable to cope with the churning tide, I let myself
fall deep within the frothy foam the ocean
creates.
Surviving the harshest climate...
-{breathing is my only obstacle now}-
